Esher secured a crucial win in their opening match of a milestone centurion year, which also marked the 100th birthday week of Esher club legend Basil Lambert.
The celebrations began with Esher’s Harri Lang opening the scoring. After gathering the ball at pace from a line-out, Lang brushed off multiple Moseley tacklers on a blistering break.
He was brought down close to the tryline, and reached over to score.
Sam Morley converted the extras.
