National League One club Chinnor have landed a huge coup with the appointment of Nick Easter as their director of rugby.
Easter, 44, who featured in three World Cups and is England‘s only forward to have scored a hat-trick at the tournament, left Worcester Warriors in September after the club went into administration.
He was in charge of forwards and defence at the Warriors, having held positions in the latter role at Newcastle Falcons, the Sharks and Harlequins.
As a player at Quins, he made 281 appearances, scoring 53 tries and winning the 2011 European Challenge Cup at 2012 Premiership.
Easter said: “I am looking forward to this opportunity and I am delighted to become the Club’s new Director of Rugby.
“Chinnor is a fantastic community club and the aim is to build on what has been achieved here in recent years.”
Chinnor head coach Craig Hampson, added: “We told the boys at training last night and there was a brilliant reaction.
“It’s a great signing for the Club to bring in someone with his experience as both a player and a coach.
“Myself, the rest of the coaching team, and the players are really looking forward to working with him.”
