PLYMOUTH Albion’s dominant scrum proved the difference as they saw off relegation rivals Leeds Tykes in a hardfought encounter.
A scrambled late try in the corner by Leeds winger Harry Jukes was not enough to deny the home side – and the visitors’ cause was not helped by having two players yellow-carded in the second half.
All too often promising Plymouth attacks came to nothing due to unforced errors, a trait which kept the Tykes in the contest.
