SALE FC loanee Jack Metcalf couldn’t hide his delight after his try-scoring return to Yorkshire helped secure a dramatic win over Leeds Tykes.
The 20-year-old said: “It’s really good to be back here and see some familiar faces. It still has a special place in my heart.
“It’s obviously different to playing in front of 9,000 as I did for the Sharks last week in Europe, but it’s always nice to cross the whitewash, no matter how many you’re playing in front of.”
