A TRY-SAVING tackle two minutes from time ensured Sale came away with the narrowest of victories at Plymouth.
Plymouth showed a slight edge in the early forward exchanges, with both teams defending ferociously.
The game was largely played between the 22-metre lines, with very few opportunities created. The deadlock was broken after 26 minutes when Plymouth were penalised for not rolling away and Sale’s Chris Johnson kicked the three points.
