FOR 20 minutes at Grantchester Road it was impossible to tell that Richmond had started the afternoon top of the table, as they conceded 14 points and had two men sent to the sin bin.
But by full-time, they had underlined their title credentials with a gritty victory.
The Blood & Sand raced into an early lead, Matt Hema’s belligerent burst opening the scoring.
Andrew Henderson danced in for a second 11 minutes later from Laurence Rayner’s delightful cross-field kick. Ben Penfold converted both.
