A WAR of attrition at Grantchester Road ended honours even after a heart-stopping final five minutes where Darlington thought they had the game won.
When two such potent attacking forces meet, defences often end up winning out and the visitors, with one defeat away from home, found themselves behind three minutes in to a Cambridge side which had won once on their own turf.
