MOSELEY'S perfect home record was blown away by a rampant Cambridge side as they stormed to a six-try victory.

Two yellow cards did little to help the home side's cause but there was no doubt the visitors deserved their win and the margin could have been greater had it not been for a number of try-saving tackles from the Red-and-Blacks.

Moseley started well enough with Cliffie Hodgson kicking a fifth minute penalty and then adding a conversion after hooker Will Biggs had been driven over.

But a yellow card for prop James Tideswell proved costly with Cambridge chalking up a brace of quick-fire tries – a penalty try and then a James Martin effort.

Full-back Joe Tarrant added a third before the break with Ben Penfold slotting over the extras.

The visitors continued to dominate after the break as Moseley struggled to get out of their own half.

Replacement Matt Dawson picked up from a ruck to muscle over on 56 minutes before a Penfold penalty put them out of sight.

The two tries came in the last ten minutes. First centre Matt Hema charged down a kick to collect and score his side's fifth try of the afternoon.

Then back row Ben Adams gathered a wayward pass in stride and ran into the clear to wrap things up at the death.

By then, Moseley had again been reduced to 14 once more after Jack Jolly saw yellow for his role in a late fracas that mattered little when it came to the final scoreline, Cambridge deserving winners.
