A DOMINANT Old Elthamians scrum laid the platform for an emphatic bonus point victory at rainswept College Meadow.
In a largely forgettable and disjointed first half, punctuated at regular intervals by the sound of the referee’s whistle for a succession of penalties and stoppages, the home side took a 7-0 half-time lead thanks to a try from winger George Perkins following excellent work from scrum-half Rhys Morgan.
