IN WET and windy conditions this was a game almost inevitably dominated by two strong defences and ultimately it was Stortford’s greater ability to hold on to the ball, despite playing a more expansive game, that decided the outcome.
Stortford produced some remarkable handling throughout the first half to enjoy a clear territorial advantage but two Brad Burr penalties were the only points.
