DARLINGTON Mowden Park comfortably overcame Old Elthamians, who simply ran out of steam in the last quarter. OE’s playmaker Tom White orchestrated the visitors well from the kick-off and they looked a slick outfit when prop Tom Concu rumbled over from two metres after a period of pick and drives from his fellow forwards.
White kicked the conversion and added a drop goal five minutes later. Mowden’s lock Max Davies scored Mowden’s first try, converted by Warren Seals, who also added a penalty to level the scores.
