ROTHERHAM Titans ended a two-match losing run as a heroic defensive effort earned victory at Chinnor.
The visitors came from behind twice to become the first team to triumph at Kingsey Road this season, thanks to two tries from Tom Bacon. Chinnor took the lead on six minutes when Ofisa Treviranus was driven over for an unconverted try, before Sam Hollingworth’s penalty got Titans on the board.
The hosts were the better side and made it 10- 3 when Sam Yawayawa dived over in the corner, but another penalty from Hollingsworth kept the visitors in touch.
