RICHMOND held on to secure a crucial victory away at Bishop’s Stortford in a tight and tense second half.
The hosts made another poor start and were seven points down within a minute, with a misplaced kick presenting Toby Dabell with a clear stroll to the line. Stortford clawed their way slowly back and were rewarded with a try to Dan Elsom after 21 minutes, rounding off a number of forward drives at the Richmond line. Tom Walker converted to level the scores.
