AQUILE Smith’s second hat-trick in as many home games edged Birmingham Moseley to a thrilling bonus-point win over Bishop’s Stortford in a topsy-turvy match.
The hosts, who conceded five tries and scored only four, also lost three forwards to the sin bin during the second half.
But fly-half Ben Palmer kept his nerve to slot the winning penalty four minutes from time and, in the process, completed a crucial six-from-six return from the kicking tee.
