IN A game where Blackheath had 70 per cent possession and 70 per cent territory it was difficult to imagine how they could lose. But numerous handling errors and untimely penalties were their undoing.
Blackheath dominated the opening 14 minutes without scoring, making it all the more galling when, from a midfield penalty, Stortford came forward and powerful driving play was rewarded as the ball was moved wide and the try touched down by Joss Linney, and converted by Thomas Banks.
