Moseley… 27

A CLINICAL five-try first half saw Rosslyn Park take advantage of their game in hand on the leaders, moving back up to third with victory over struggling Moseley.

The match and the bonus point were sewn up by half-time, three tries coming in a six-minute period. Though Moseley stirred to cross four times after the break, Rosslyn had done enough.

Ben Marfo had the run of the left wing to cruise over on seven minutes, but it wasn’t until Mike Penn was sin-binned that Park took control.

A driving maul powered Hugo Ellis over, before Bamidele Fadahunsi set up two tries in as many minutes with powerful breaks before offloading to Jack Barnard and Alistair Wade for two fine tries.

Karl Gibson added a fifth try as Park led 38-3 at half-time, but Moseley instantly responded as replacement Aeden Moloney found the corner.

Having barely had a look in over the opening 40, it was a total role reversal as Jacques Le Roux barrelled over, before Moloney added his second on the hour mark.

The mountain proved too tall, but the hosts claimed what could be a crucial bonus point as Le Roux was driven over, before Park had the last word as Nick Lovell added a sixth late on.
