FOR the first game of the New Year, Loughborough Students looked forward to a keenly-awaited fixture against Caldy and received a much-celebrated result.
With only a few points needed to improve their position in the league, the students were eager to secure a win to start the New Year.
Loughborough were on the back foot for the early part of the first half, although a successful penalty by Charlie Reed aided with the campaign.
