A CONVERTED try in the final few minutes from Andrew Hughes saw Sale take the win against Caldy in the Cheshire derby at Paton Field.
Sale started the stronger of the two sides and were allowed to play the game in their style attacking Caldy and were rewarded in the fifth minute when Neil Briggs completed a fine flowing move in the corner which was expertly converted.
Caldy sparked into life and responded with a try of their own through Josiah Dickinson to bring the scores level.
