Cambridge deny battling Students

LOUGHBOROUGH left Grantchester Road with a losing bonus point after making Cambridge work hard all the way for the win in game that crackled with nervous tension.
The Students were fierce in defence throughout but went 6-0 down early on to a pair of Ben Penfold penalties.
And it looked bad for Alan Buzza’s men when Cambridge co-captain Ean Griffiths powered over for the game’s opening try and worse when Penfold added the conversion.
