Asiedu double settles mid-table bun fight

IN A lacklustre home performance, DMP were well-beaten on a cold, wet North East day at the Northern Echo Arena, the visitors Cambridge deservedly running out comfortable winners.
Cambridge began and ended well. They opened the scoring with a Jack Green penalty and player of the match, Cambridge wing Nana Asiedu shrugging offseveral would-be tacklers en route to the line for the first try of the day.
Green converted and visiting No.8 Stephen Hipwell grabbed blood and sand’s second try after some close quarter work near the home line.
