CHINNOR welcomed back old rivals Bishops Stortford to a wet and cold Kingsey Road for a fierce error-strewn game where Stortford’s impressive defence outshone the home team’s attacking threat.
Chinnor had the better of the opening half, playing with the wind, and used that to open up a 6-0 lead at the break. They dominated possession almost entirely for the opening quarter of an hour, with Caolan Ryan breaking the deadlock with a penalty on 17 minutes.
