ALEXRayment’s try on the stroke of half-time proved decisive as Cambridge got the better of Ampthill in difficult conditions at Olney Field.
Amps’ squad saw five changes from that which defeated Esher the week before and they started well, taking the game to the visitors and the lead on six minutes with a straight forward penalty from Michael Wilson.
