BEN King and Tom White scored two tries apiece as Elthamians won a nine-try thriller at College Meadow.
The kick-off was delayed by 15 minutes after the visitors were held up in traffic and it was OEs who came storming out of the blocks, taking an early 12-3 lead through tries from Dom Lespierre and No.8 King, James Williams replying with a penalty.
Birmingham hit back through their forwards which allowed scrum-half Rob Lewis to force his way over on 27 minutes.
