CHINNOR ground out a narrow victory to make it three wins from three, but Cambridge were unlucky not to pick up more than a losing bonus point in a thrilling encounter.
The visitors, solid, efficient and with no little craft, took the game to the Blood & Sand from the off and lesser sides would have crumbled before the onslaught.
The hosts even took the lead as Ben Penfold landed a 40-metre penalty two minutes in.
