NEWLY-PROMOTED Chinnor caused an early
National 1 upset by beating Plymouth Albion, who finished third last season.
Plymouth will be disappointed with their performance, but this should not detract from Chinnor.
They totally outplayed the Devon side and thoroughly deserved their victory.
Chinnor skipper Danny Barnes said: “I’m absolutely delighted with the win in our first ever game at this level.
“We worked hard on our shape and structure in pre season and out there we competed for the full 80 minutes.”
