PLYMOUTH Albion kept up their pursuit of a third-place finish in National One as they saw off the challenge of Blackheath in a game full of niggle.
Referee George Selwood dished out five yellow cards as well as sending off Albion lock Eoghan Grace.
Plymouth opened the scoring when hooker Jamie Salter finished off a catch and drive.
An excellent handling move sent lock Lewis Pearson over for Plymouth’s second try before prop Dan Pullinger notched another catch and drive with full-back Matt Shepherd adding the extras.
