BISHOP’S Stortford coughed up the ball too much and with it derby bragging rights as a committed and imaginative Cambridge claimed the honours.
Cambridge were quickly into their attacking rhythm, which brought early tries for Vincent Hart and Louis Rawlings.
Stortford dominated ball and territory for the rest of the half and had three tries disallowed before finally getting a try under the posts through Matt Tomlinson after 37 minutes.
