SPARKED by a brilliant display of game management from former Worcester fly-half Joe Carlisle, Old Elthamians claimed a narrow win at Birmingham Moseley.
Playing down the Billesley Common slope, OE’s totally dominated an opening half-hour in which the home side were unable to supress their high-tempo appoach.
As a result, the visitors led 21-0 through a brace of tries from scrum half Ollie Claxton plus winger Renford Bennett’s pacy finish and three Carlisle conversions.
