DARLINGTON Mowden Park weathered a secondhalf fightback to secure their seventh straight win at Old Elthamians.
After going behind to a fourth-minute Joe Carlisle penalty, the powerful Darlington pack took a firm stranglehold on proceedings for the remainder of the half.
Prop Alfie Barron was driven over from close range on eight minutes and, when OEs were reduced to 13 men in the space of two minutes following yellow cards to front rowers Nathan Morris and Alex Rogers, the visitors added a wellworked second try.
