LAWRENCE Rayner kept his cool to kick a last minute penalty to earn visitors Ampthill a share of the spoils in this tense opening-day clash.
The fly-half scored from 30 metres to cap an impressive fightback from the Bedfordshire side who had trailed 21-10 going into the final quarter.
Moseley opened the scoring on seven minutes with a dazzling individual try from full-back Ben Howard.
He picked up deep inside his own half before weaving his way threequarters of the length of the pitch and dotted down beneath the posts. James Dixon converted.
