BLAYDON were relegated after Sam Lunnon scored a try for Old Albanian with the final move of the match.
Kick-off was delayed when Blaydon’s train was held up and when an OA restart was misfielded in the final seconds, it condemned the men from Crow Trees to Level Four next season.
After an indifferent start to their season, Blaydon fought long and hard to avoid relegation and at times at Woollams it looked as if there efforts were to be rewarded.
