A FIRST victory in six outings for Blackheath was achieved thanks to Freddie Owens’ late try, after Darlington had overhaulled a 21-point deficit.
Three converted tries put Blackheath in control at the break 21-0 up but the game was all square before Owen’s late intervention. A penalty try awarded for side entry put Blackheath in the ascendancy in only the third minute.
Mark Cooke made the line-break to put Leo Fielding across for his tenth try of the campaign on 19 minutes, before Jamie Davies cut from deep and Alex Pickersgill went ...
