PLYMOUTH ALBION stretched their winning run to seven games with a hard-earned victory over relegation threatened Hull Ionians at Brickfields.
Hull looked to be out of the contest at half-time but they dominated the second half and were unlucky not to take something from the match.
Plymouth took an early lead when skipper Herbie Stupple crashed over with full-back Matt Shepherd adding the extras.
Midway through the half Plymouth extended their lead when left wing Robin Wedlake beat two defenders before touching down in the corner.
