Darlington defence proves vital as Students fade away

LOUGHBOROUGH were made to rue opportunities left on the field in a competitive first half as they spurned several chances that could have led to a different result.
Darlington ran out victors in the end, with their defence in the first period key to their success overall, after what was some stub- born early resistance.
