DARLINGTON Mowden Park came close to a stirring fight-back as they battled back from 14-0 down before falling short against Plymouth.
Visiting fly-half Dean Squire was binned for tackling Adam Radwan in the air, but Josh Bragman missed the resulting penalty.
Plymouth scored when down to 14, as wing Robin Wedlake-Millecam squeezed over after a series of pick and drives, with Matt Shepherd converting.
