Hoppers leave it late to grab crucial try

PRESTON Grasshoppers hold on at the top, but it took a try in the dying minutes to pull this result out of the fire, beating Ilkley 24-29 at Stacks Field.
Ilkely led throughout with tries from Josh Hall, Jack Mapleson, Ben McGee and Max McKay, with Charles Morgan kicking two conversions. For ‘Hoppers, Sam Gale, Scott Jordan, Ally Murray and Oliver Trippier (2) were the try-scorers, Jake Squirrel landing two conversions. Lymmran in six tries to defeat Rossendale 10-38.
