Lions roar again to extend perfect start with Bees in pursuit

PETERBOROUGH Lions continued their perfect start to the Midlands Premier with a bonus-point 31-20 victory against Newbold on Avon.
Michael Watts scored a double for the league leaders as they made it six wins from six while Michael Bean, Joe Anderson and Andy Cruthers were also on the scoresheet.
The league leaders had scored two converted tries in the opening six minutes before letting their visitors back into the tie and Newbold did take the lead but the Lions regrouped and took victory.
