EDWARD Griffiths left Worcester Warriors on Tuesday after his take over plans were rejected by the board.
The former Saracens chief executive had been rumoured to be considering forming a consortium to take over the Warriors who are looking for a new investor.
Griffiths arrived at Sixways in January to help Worcester’s bosses on a short-term project to review the club’s rugby operations.
