As if to prove the point I made last week about the standard of club verses country, Leinster with ten of the current Ireland team playing, demolished the dreams of my old club Wasps who fielded just four of the current England crop.
Despite sitting on top of the Premiership, having won more games than any of their rivals and playing an exciting brand of all-action rugby, Wasps just couldn’t live with the extra intensity bought by the Leinster players, fresh from the international game environment.
