Old Halesonians were the latest opponents to come unstuck at Rugby Road with Cameron Gray, Jake Dodd and Nick Thatcher putting the hosts in cruise control.
The visitors got two back either side of Thatcher’s second and then made a game of it eight minutes into the second half.
Nine points separated the sides at that stage with Josh Nott’s try giving Broadstreet much-needed breathing space.
