Old boys need seven points to take title

OLD Redcliffians look set to clinch the South West title after they extended their lead to 18 points thanks to a 23-12 win over third-place Camborne.
Tries from Jed Hooper, Josh Mortimer, Ellis Joseph and youngster Mitch Mayes gave them a bonus-point victory to show for their long journey. The win leaves them requiring seven points from their remaining five games after Dings Crusaders failed to clinch a bonus point in their 18-14 win over Lydney.
Dings managed only two tries in this close encounter, which came courtesy of Tom Knight and Paul Finken.
