Field tighten grip at the top of the table

HUDDERSFIELDcontinue to power away at the top of the table after a convincing 28-16 win at third-place Wirral.
Callum Thompson kicked off the try-scoring for the hosts before Adam Malthouse grabbed a second. They were then awarded a penalty try, but the hosts were a little disappointed as they failed to find the bonus-point score. Fly-half Chris Bell completed the hosts tally with 13 points from the tee, made up of three penalties and two conversions.
