REDRUTH fought hard as they came from 14 points down to beat Hornets in a Recreational Ground thriller.
The Cornwall side got off to an explosive start in the third minute through star man Tom Cowan-Dickie. Dean Wills added the extras.
However, the visitors hit back with thee unanswered tries.
Thomas Read scored twice in four minutes, with Charlie Carter converting, before Carter helped himself to a try when he went over just after the half-hour.
