CLIFTON stayed on course for the National Two West title, but not before they were given a scare by already doomed Bournville.
Clifton were only 2423 up when Bournville fly-half Jacob Fewtrell landed a 46th-minute penalty, but the sin-binning of the home side’s Adam Shaw proved the turning point.
Shaw was shown his card for kicking the ball away in the build-up to fly-half Ollie Milner’s try, and Clifton ran in tries through scrum-half Spencer Mitchell and hooker Tom Anderson while Bournville...
