IN A thrilling match at the Nest, spectators were treated to a high-scoring showdown that highlighted the attacking prowess of both teams.
Hornets started strongly with Chris Francis opening the scoring with a try after a powerful burst from Ayden Chenoweth, who was making his 100th appearance.
The Hornets extended their lead shortly after when Kieran Ward broke through the Exeter defence near the posts, with Charlie Carter successfully converting the try.
