REDRUTH did just enough to maintain their winning start to the New Year with this hard-fought win against Old Reds.
On a cold day in perfect conditions Old Redcliffians kicked offdown the slope and immediately set about their task.
Patient handling moved the ball at speed left and right and brought an early reward following a good break from Finn Murphy before Ollie Stratton went over. Sadly for Old Red’s full-back that proved to be his final contribution as he had to be helped offthe field.
