A COMPELLING and superbly competitive game of rugby gave the big crowd at Mortimer Park an entertaining pre-Christmas contest.
The victory went the way of Cinderford, who scraped home in the gathering gloom to gain revenge for their earlier loss at home to Luctonians at the start of the season.
Lucs started superbly when Caleb Montgomery was put clear by Josh Watkins to dot down under the posts. Jack Park converted.
But Cinderford showed their resolve, and Dan Broady stole over from a close-in driving maul....
