Macclesfield………… 5

LUCTONIANS dominated Macclesfield in a commanding victory at Mortimer Park.

The home side, donning orange shirts for their Charity Day, opened the scoring in the second minute when Lewis Parkes crossed the line, with Jamin Hodgkins adding the conversion.

Hodgkins extended the lead with a penalty in the eighth minute before Conor Geraghty scored Luctonians’ second try, assisted by Joe White and Owien Harriot-Davis, in the 23rd minute.

Harriot-Davis then touched down in the 35th minute, with Hodgkins maintaining his perfect kicking record. The half-time score stood at 24-0 in favour of Luctonians.

The onslaught continued after the break, with Caleb Montgomery scoring within a minute of the restart. James Mear added another in the 47th minute, assisted by Owen Randell, before Parkes completed his brace.

Macclesfield finally got on the scoreboard through George Boughey in the 62nd minute, but it proved to be their only points of the match.

Luctonians responded with further tries from Randell, Jack Goodwin, and Montgomery’s second to round off the scoring.
