Temperley has the right Kit for visitors

HIGH-FLYING maintained their strong start to the season with victory at Hornets.

The visitors struck first. Ben Taylor kicked deep and from a driving line-out, Joe Denman was forced over.

Loughborough extended their lead through Tom Rowe with a try converted by Taylor.

Hornets then put together some decent which led to a penalty for Jamie Elswood.

With the Hornets pack now firmly in the ascendancy, Charlie Carter put Josh Sheppard in for a try.

But just before the break, Hornets made several very basic errors that were punished brilliantly with a try from the outstanding Kit Temperley, converted by Taylor, then again through Sam Peppitt to make it 8-24 at half-time.

In the second half, Hornets gained some control and a try by new signing Corey Baker converted by Luke Mc-Mullan put them back in the hunt. But Loughborough had other ideas and that man Temper-ley struck again.

A clever chip by Mc-Mullan led to a try for Connor Vickery and gave Hornets a glimmer of hope, but proved to be this was shortlived as Taylor knocked over a late penalty.
