Redruth director of rugby Nigel Hambly questioned if he was taking a school register rather than leading a bus trip to a National League game before the recent hefty defeat to Dings, such is the inexperience of his squad.
Hambly’s side have endured a difficult campaign, coming into this weekend in ninth after finishing second as recently as the 2021/22 National Two South campaign.
Talented half-backs Jack Oulton (Plymouth Albion) and Fraser Honey (Rams) exited The Recreation Ground, leaving a youthful side which has resulted in inconsistency.
